Counseling Background
Since the start of my counseling career (10/01/2013) I have been delivering psychotherapeutic services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness (schizophrenia, Bi-polar, Schizoaffective). My services have included individual psychotherapy, as well as group psychotherapy. I have recently added master’s level psychological testing to my practice. My theoretical orientation has been person-centered in its core, however, to create a therapeutic environment, which could facilitate a comprehensive service to each and every client, I implement interventions from cognitive behavior therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.
